Deciding to invest in a n unusual gift, whether its a leather wallet, piece of clothing or even some flash catering gadget from the likes of Whipped Cream Direct or John Lewis can be a tricky decision – an awful lot of them are not exactly on the cheap side! However, if you’re going to make a substantial investment in a new model, then leather wallets are well worth your consideration for a variety of reasons. Not convinced? Keep reading, and we’ll explain just why leather wallets are a good investment.
Firstly, they’re very durable. Leather is renowned as being one of the toughest materials (and certainly the toughest) fabric in terms of how much punishment it’s capable of taking – there’s a reason that it’s used by bikers for when they come off the bike! Whilst we’re not suggesting you’re going to be throwing your wallet off a motorcycle (at least, we would recommend it), having one made of leather will certainly mean that it should last much longer than any other variety.
Another undoubted benefit to having a wallet made from leather (and indeed this is the case for most leather products) is that they’re essentially immune to fashion. Whilst we’re not suggesting you break out the hell’s angel leather jacket at a dinner party, it’s very rare that a leather accessory is going to look completely out of place, and it’s not the sort of thing that’ll be in one season and out the next. Essentially, a good leather fashion accessory is more or less timeless.
Finally, good leather fashion accessories are very, very versatile. If you’re using a leather wallet, it’ll comfortably look the part with virtually everything. Sleek black suit for the big work presentation? Fine. A romantic dinner? Yup. A casual afternoon at the football? No problem. There is pretty much no outfit that won’t suit. Obviously if you’re planning to run the London marathon dressed as a chicken we’d probably recommend leaving it at home!
